I can merge shipments

This tutorial outlines the process of merging multiple shipments in Jules. Remember, only shipments with the same Port of Delivery (POD) and Port of Loading (POL) can be merged.

Locating the Shipments

Step 1: Navigate to the shipments page in Jules. Identify two different shipments with the same port of loading and port of delivery. Open any one of these shipments.

Selecting the Loads

Step 2: Proceed to the loads page.

Step 3: Select one or all the loads.

Creating a Shipment

Step 4: Click on Create a Shipment.

Step 5: Instead of creating a new shipment, choose an existing shipment.

Step 6: Select a shipment that was previously displayed with the same port of loading and port of delivery. Use the Other reference number to identify the parent shipment.

Saving and Confirming the Merge

Step 7: Click on Save.

Step 8: Confirm the action by clicking on Yes, Override and Continue.

Verifying the Merge

Step 9: Navigate back to the previous page. Notice that the number of loads has changed from four to seven.

This indicates that the shipments have been successfully merged.

Step 10: To verify this, navigate into the shipments and to the loads page to see all your loads merged successfully.

This concludes the tutorial on merging shipments in Jules.
