I can add, edit and delete locations in a warehouse

Learn how to add, edit, or delete a warehouse location in Jules. This tutorial covers the process from the Stocks, Purchase, and Loads pages.

Adding a Location from the Stocks Page

Step 1: Navigate to the stocks page.



Step 2: Click on settings on the stocks page.



Step 3: Select the warehouse to add a location for.



Step 4: Navigate to the locations tab.



Step 5: Click on add a new location.



Step 6: Provide the general information, such as the location name.



Step 7: Choose the status between available, lost, and quarantine.



Step 8: Select a stock picking rule. Options include first in first out and first in last out.



Step 9: Fill in the targets fields to specify the material, purchase cost, income term, and target quantity.



Step 10: Click on save to add the location to the warehouse.

Adding a Location from the Purchase Page

Step 1: Navigate to the purchase page.



Step 2: Click on add a purchase.



Step 3: Fill in the general information & Click on next.



Step 4: Select the material, Provide an estimated quantity & Choose an incoterm.



Step 5: Navigate to the allocate to field.

Step 6: Scroll down to a warehouse and select a warehouse.



Step 7: Under the location field, add a new location by typing a new location and clicking on add new.



Step 8: Fill in the location name, status, stock picking rule, and all the target fields & Click on save.

Adding a Location from the Loads Page

Step 1: Navigate inside a purchase.



Step 2: Go to the loads page.



Step 3: Select any load and click on allocation info.



Step 4: In the allocate to field, select the warehouse.



Step 5: Click on the warehouse field, select the warehouse, and in the locations tab, follow the same instructions by clicking on add new.



Step 6: Fill in all the general information and the target information and Click on save to add the location to the warehouse.
